February Update: Not much new news to report here this month. Take a look at the calendar at the bottom of the email to see if you could offer up hosting for us in the future warmer months.
Root Shoot:
On January 21st some members from KROC and OTMP went on a bit of a field trip to visit Root Shoot Malting in Loveland, CO. Jeff was great enough to document this field trip and experience in the following writeup.

Take Notice:As many of us in this area have noticed, we are limited to 2 homebrew shops, one in Northglenn and one in Lakewood. We do not have an option this is slightly closer. Thanks to Ryan for pointing this out, Altitude Brewing & Supply has now moved and is quite possibly the closest brew supply store to most of us.

January Meeting Recap:
Attendants:
Some cold beer drinking fools
Meeting Recap:
It was an evening I was not so sure about departing my house. After already spending an hour of my work day outside and knowing that it was just going to get colder, the hesitation about not attending was real. Knowing that I also committed to delivering some kegs to another brewer put the pressure on me to deliver such items. After bundling myself up and setting out the door for the 7 block drive I arrive to immediately eat shit in the street on a sheet of ice. Colter was ready for us with chairs gathered around a big backyard fire pit. We had a truly unique experience for a meeting, at times it left a bit like winter camping, but also just enjoying the shit talking around the fire and the company of great club members. Thanks for hosting us Colter!
