Saturday early session is what we are looking for. Something Thad talked to me about at the meeting was looking to see if the brewers association would get us in on a group buy. I will inquire about this and see if this is an option. Otherwise, we will all be left to fend for ourselves and figure out how to get tickets to this session.

This would be a super cool club trip if we can pull this off. As I have typically attended with beer novices I would love to go with some beer tasting veterans.

I would like to see some plan of attack ideas from our club. Like which beers and breweries are important and then map some shit out on the app that the brewers association provides.

Totally welcome to feedback on this. I know I would like to see a good turn out from the club on this operation, this could be a really good time.

Thanks for reaching out! It looks like the best bet will be to purchase tickets during the sale. We do have our members-only pre-sale on July 30th, where there will be an 8 ticket limit. If you can get a few of the club members that are also AHA members to help you with the purchase, you should be able to take care of it! Thanks again and have a great day!

That is the official response to group bys for GABF. If we can identify a few people willing to help with this project we can probably accommodate all of the people who want to attend.

I don’t plan to go to GABF, but I’m an AHA member so I could help purchase tickets. Sounds like I/we would just purchase X number of tickets on the member-only pre-sale to supply to the club/group. Right?

Yes I think Evan should attach the google sheet to this thread so we can get our ticket count.

Anyone who wants me to make a ticket purchase for them please let me know. I will want a reasonable assurance I will reimbursed (something like I can hold your fermenter hostage). Are we going to the Member session on Saturday afternoon (the one I usually go to)? The Tickest are $70 bucks. The limit for the members session is 4 tickets which means I can buy 2 tickets for other people – I take my brother so he can wonder around looking for the PBR and Grain Belt booths.

haha sounds like my GABF experience with my wife last year. I was stuck only drinking fruit sour beers.

I will be sending out a reminder here soon. I know we have some interest from the club; I even re-upped my membership so I could purchase. Somehow this was not covered at the last meeting (I wonder how this slipped my mind). My understanding was that AHA members could but 8 tickets (confirmed by the AHA). I am thinking that if we want a posse we can make it happen. There is just a shit ton of organization behind this endeavor.

You can get 8 tickets for the general session but only 4 for the members only session. Info at the link below. I checked my membership and my presale code was there. They say you have to optin to get the code emailed to you.

I’m not planning to go, but I’ll purchase up to 4 tickets if OTMP members that are going are unable to purchase enough. I definitely want to be reimbursed for any tickets that I purchase for others, so no backing out. 🙂

I received my tickets over the weekend and have distributed to those who requested me to buy a ticket on their behalf. We should plan our meetup at one of the next meetings. I will take the commuter train to the event (G-Line). Looking forward to it.

I have a friend who had to back out so I have a ticket available for the Thursday night session and Saturday members only session if anyone is looking.

Purchase price is face value – $85 for the Thursday ticket and $75 for the members only ticket.

Let me know if you’re interested, I can take payment via PayPal or in person and transfer the ticket(s) to you through AXS.

    Cheers!
