Spauld:
Would love to chat and have way to many questions right now to try and list them. Probably best to have you over for a beer and show you my setup. 😉 For New Years the wife and I just completed our very first brew on our new setup, made a “Sweet Stout” recipe from the Zymurgy magazine. I realized afterword that I have a lot to re-learn and figure out. Made several mistakes along the way so interested to see how it actually comes out. Would love to learn how to make a good Helles, we just had a bunch of them in the Christmas Advent Beer Calendar from Costco. (All great German Beers)
I’m a big DIY guy myself, and looked at doing the same for my chiller initially but I didn’t have a lot of free time at that point but had just completed some side work that paid for the chiller so I figured why not. I just dug out my iSpindel’s and I’m in the process of rebuilding my Fermentrack Raspberry Pi to log the data with.
Would love to attend the next meeting, looking forward to it. Not afraid of all this pandemic stuff, I’ve been in the office every day with 300+ people through this the entire time. Its more of the mental drain from it all and not enough down time to recharge a bit. Would love to swing by the Bier Barn to chat and learn. This month is already pretty busy but I’ll see if I can get a Saturday freed up. What’s the best way to reach out to you?
