Hi all! I haven’t met any of you in person yet, but I’m halfway to being fully vaxxed, so hopefully it will happen soon. I’m an assistant brewer at LUKI Brewery in Arvada, and I wanted to let all you fabulous homebrewers know that we are hosting a Big Brew Day this coming Saturday, May 1. The deal is that we brew up some pre-boil wort for you to take home and do amazing things with. It costs $15 to enter, and if your brew wins, you’ll get to brew it on our system for our 1st anniversary, July 3!
Here’s a link to the press release. Hope to meet some of you there!

Very cool, nice to meet you Adrian.

I’m out of town this weekend, but I’ll keep a look out for future events. Before they closed their location and went to contract brewing, Saint Patrick’s used to do this and I entered with a friend a few times, it was a lot of fun.

Woohoo! I am in the final three for consideration. LUKI will decide soon if they will be brewing up some Kottbusser for their anniversary party. I’ll keep y’all posted. Cheers!

    Jeff:

Congratulations, I really liked what you did with the beer.

I did not make the cut but it was a learning experience.

Well deserved Jeff, that was a delicious beer at the last meeting.

Hope we can see you at one of the future meetings Adrian!

So my entry was not selected; they went with a mango pale ale instead. However, Jeff the owner really liked the Kottbusser and is interested in putting it on the menu this fall. Stay tuned!
