Is anybody watching this? Takes place around 1900. I’ve only seen one episode so far, but plays like a british mob drama sort of show, with a brewery/beer centric theme. Not a bad opening episode.
It’s dubbed by the way, I found it easiest to have both subtitles and dubbing on, as sometimes the subtitles don’t make sense and sometimes the dub doesn’t make sense. I’ve read others hating the dubbing and turning that off and just reading subtitles while they speak in German.
Anyways, curious if anyone is watching.
Hey Ryan, normally this would be right up my alley since I love period stuff and of course anything to do with German bier! My only issue is the subtitles/overdubs.
I did watch the trailer though and it piqued my interest for sure. I may actually end up watching it at some point, but I will need to hit one of those dry spells on Netflix where I’ve burned through anything else worth watching. Right now I’m glued to “The Queen’s Gambit” and I’m finding ‘The Good Place’ pretty hilarious.
