Saison tasting with Ryan, Rick & Cody

Had a great time on Saturday tasting Saisons with a couple of OTMP’s. I guess it should come as no surprise that the Dupont product soared to the top. The Funkwerks and Boulevard Tank 7 we’re disappointing.

That’s awesome! I am not at all surprised the DuPont was the best. I personally feel like American Saisons have a muted yeast character.

Yeah, I agree. The Tank 7 tasted like a domestic IPA. The Funkwerks was surprisingly one dimensional for a label that boasts it’s GABF medals 😏. About half of each of those bottles went down the drain. …life is too short to drink crappy beer!
