Topics Only for Notifications

Ok, I got some feedback and I totally agree with this approach. I am trying to find the right balance of you all know what is going on in the forums but not to be overly annoying. So I made a small change. You will now get an email with only newly created topics. If you do not reply to the tread you will stop getting emails on those topics. If you do reply you will get an email for any reply to that topic. I hope this works a bit better.

Is there an option for an individual to set/request only daily digests of new topics and recent thread updates?

I will see if I can find something that will allow a daily digest. But moving only to topics will cut down a ton on your email box. Daily digests are not a standard feature in bbpress so if someone has made a plugin it may be possible.
