Well I am going to try to nail my NEIPA again. This time we are going with more oats and some Amarillo and Galaxy hops. Fingers crossed. I would like some feedback on this recipe since I am brewing on Sunday.

    Looks good to me.

I’ve had a lot of success dry hopping during primary for short periods (2-3 days), a lot more of those fruit flavors come out/more bang for the hops you put in.

I’d probably move the Galaxy to flameout too.

Scott Janish’s book on hops is incredibly informative for these types of beers.

Great feedback I will move the galaxy to flameout. My idea is to add all of the dry hops at high krusen. I want to get that bio-transformation.

I would eliminate the buttering hops.

I did adjust the hop schedule when I made this beer. I did keep the .25 of bittering hops. We will have to see how it tastes. It will be ready for the next meeting.

Your recipe looks like it will deliver the aroma you’re looking for in a NEIPA. …I actually like buttering hops!

Amarillo is one of my favorite hops. I agree (a bit late), move the late Amarillo and Galaxy to flame out.

Let us know how it turns out.

This beer is by far my best attempt so far. I moved all hops except the bittering charge to flame out and then did a 4 oz dry hop at high krusen. I missed my target gravity by a lot because I was trying to brew on Aaron’s new Mash and Boil. But I think it turned out better being more of a pale ale vs an IPA.
