ParticipantI saw that the other day and tried to decide if it was worth it. I lost a whole batch on Saturday when a glass carboy was released from its brew hauler and went crashing all over the patio. Decided then and there Id use some stimulus cash to improve my fermentation equipment and stumbled on these. I decided that it’s way out of my league. If I were to get one, I’d need one of you to come show me how to use it. Though if anyone else has any fermenters that they aren’t using and are willing to part with, I’m in the market. I’ll stick with Ale Pails and Corny kegs in the meantime.

ParticipantIm an idiot. The recipe had some corn sugar adjunct which I forgot to add. I’m in primary now. Too late to add a dextrose simple syrup? How much water for 0.25 lbs of dextrose?

ParticipantOh Jim, don’t go to the grocery store. It’s not just bleach, it’s everything sanitizer-related. Bleach, Rubbing Alcohol, Hand sani, and also for some reason toilet paper, Kleenex, and paper towels. It’s bizarre.

I’m brewing Saturday at my house (new K-RIMS system I picked up from Ben) so I’ll get everything together for you guys then, and I’ll keep it nice and clean.
